Frequently Asked Questions

What data do you have available?

Per country: 30+ indicators across four domains (Built Environment, Natural Environment, Economy, People & Community), three resilience dimensions (Anticipate, Prepare, Adapt), a composite DRI score, drought history and recent events, and live drought monitoring (EDO Combined Drought Indicator). Sources include AEMET, MITECO, the European Drought Observatory, the World Bank and FAO.

What is the DRI?

The Drought Resilience Index — a single 0–100 score summarising how prepared a country is for drought, aggregated from its indicators across the three dimensions.

How current is the data?

Indicator data is updated per reference year; drought monitoring (CDI) reflects the latest available observation. Some demo figures are illustrative pending the full data pipeline.

Who is IDRO for?

Policymakers, scientists/analysts, and the general public — the interface adapts the depth of detail and the questions IDROki suggests to each view.
